Oxccai presents at IDC'22
On 27-30 June, Tiffany and Jun attended the IDC'2022 in Braga, Portugal. Tiffany presented two workshop papers on 27 June: one on “What They Say and What They Do: The Need to Unpack the Datafication Practices in Children’s Recommendations” at KidRec'22, and one on “Ethical Considerations on Positioning the Normative Stance when working with Children” at “Ethical Considerations of Distributed Participatory Design with Children”.

We contribute to UK Online Safety Bill Call for Evidence
On 8 June 2022, we contribute to the UK Government’s Call for Evidence to the revised Online Safety Bill (see the full bill). Generally speaking, we welcome the considerations urged by the Online Safety Bill committee and we are excited about the potential impact that the Bill could bring to the current online experiences of the users, particularly children.

We are featured in Oxford `Science Together'
The Oxford CCAI (Child-Centred AI) team were well presented in Oxford University MPLS’ Science Together 2022. We had the pleasure to run a taster App Club session with 27 students coming from Oxford Academy, based on the six-week programme we developed with LeysCDI (see app club).
